Here is a brief overview of the AIC themes from 2004 through 2009.

2004: GUILTY? A courtroom. A crime. An accusation. Case pending…jurors needed.

Drama
The Efil County Art Museum has burned to the ground and young Trent Stone is on trial for arson. The stakes are against Trent as the testimony of several witnesses continues to point to him as the instigator. Trent's Defense lawyer, Brian Taylor, is fresh out of school and seems to be doing more harm than good, especially now that he's up against the intimidating expertise of the Prosecutor, Aaron Gahoogawich. Just as the situation looks hopeless for Trent, the case takes an unexpected twist and the jury finds themselves having to unravel another case before they can continue with the first. The children are part of the jury and are called on to weigh the evidence as it is presented and render their verdict when the time comes.

Curriculum
Building on the main concepts presented in the drama, the children are challenged in three primary areas: Honoring Parents, Standing Alone, and Telling the Truth. Session titles include: Will You Be on the Jury?, Being Under Parents' Protection, Basing our Search for Truth on God's Word, Standing Alone, and Are You Forgiven?

2005: ENEMY ENCOUNTER! Three men. Three choices. Three lives. Who will survive?

Drama
Boyhood friends, Zachary Puller, Joseph Dean and Luke Littman find themselves together once again in the ranks of the Army. Though driven by different motives, all three are dedicated to their cause and to the special mission they've been given…or so they thought. The impending danger is too much for Luke to bear and just when he's needed most, he deserts his friends. Zach and Joseph find themselves in the hands of a cruel enemy commander; and yet, surprisingly, God's promise holds true and He is able to bring good out of this seemingly hopeless situation.

Curriculum
As soldiers-in-training, the children learn what it means to be in God's Army and how to know and carry out the special assignments He has given them. Sessions include: Be a Doer, I'm in the Lord's Army, We Want to Thank You!, The Narrow Way, Bold As a Lion, Take a Risk…for God, Watch Out for the Enemy!, and Investment Advice.

2006: THE QUEST: A boy's journey…for the glory of the King.

Drama
Young Andrake joins the other boys of his region in running to hear the special announcement from the King. He is overjoyed when the invitation is offered to all of them to become a Knight in the service of the King! He soon finds himself alone on his quest, and begins to realize that this will be no easy task. His patient mentor, Sir Conley, trains and instructs him until Andrake decides to set out on his own in search for the Ancient Instructions that have remained hidden for hundreds of years. Many people become a part of Andrake's quest and he learns some valuable lessons, most notably, that perhaps his quest was not so much about finding the Ancient Instructions as he thought it was…

Curriculum
The children learn Andrake's lessons right along with him as they are transported back in time to the days of knights and maidens. They are encouraged to recognize the role for which God has created them and then to fill that role in a way that will bring great glory to our King. Session titles include: Our King's Coat of Arms, Becoming a Brave Knight, The Heart of the Matter, Resisting Temptation, Showing Gratefulness, Learning to Use Our God-Given Talents, Becoming More Christ-Like, and Investing in the Lives of Others.

2007: LEGACY: Looking for the Truth. Chasing a Treasure. Finding Wisdom.

Drama
The drama follows the story of the five Wissen children as they attempt to find and claim the inheritance their parents left them before they died. Along the way, the Wissen children learn about their parents through the stories of the people they meet whose lives were impacted by Mama and Papa Wissen. They are guided by the entries in a journal kept by their parents and the watchful eye and timely counsel of the Conductor who seems to have more than just a passing interest in the children's journey.

Curriculum
The students are involved in a hunt for their own treasure as they look for clues and try to decipher information that will lead them to the prize! They are being challenged to seek wisdom by looking to the Lord Jesus Christ and to live successful lives by learning and applying the principles of God's Word in every situation they face. Session titles include: Wisdom is Peaceable, Wisdom is Pure, Wisdom is Gentle, Wisdom is Willing to Yield, Wisdom is Full of Mercy, Wisdom is Full of Good Fruits, Wisdom is Without Partiality, Wisdom is Without Hypocrisy.

2008: WESTWARD! building a new life…by God's design.

Drama
The drama follows the story of a group of settlers as they begin a new life for themselves in the west. The settlers experience numerous setbacks from both natural disasters and human interference...if only they could figure out who the bad guy really is! The "voice of God" narrates each day, allowing the audience to catch a glimpse of the events and people from God's perspective.

Curriculum
The students will be challenged to view their own lives from God's perspective and to build their lives according to His design for them. Session titles include: Hope: Having the Confidence to Believe, Discernment: Being Sensitive to the Holy Spirit, Initiative: Having the Heart to Serve, Honesty: The Standard of Integrity, Perseverance: Pressing On, Courage: Learning to Endure Hardships, Gratefulness: Giving the Glory to God, Love: Following Christ's Example.

2009: ESCAPE!

Drama
Students will find themselves stranded with a group of travelers deep inside the jungle. The way out seems obvious…at first. But unexpected dangers and obstacles await them at every turn. Will they discover the way of escape before it's too late? Students will have to follow the unfolding drama to find out!

Curriculum
Each child will be assigned to an age-integrated small group, led by a trained homeschool teenager or graduate. During the small group teaching times students will learn eight key ingredients for living an effective and fruitful Christian life: faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, and love (from 2 Peter 1:5-8).
