Character Quote
If Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him.
C. T. Studd
This year the TPA Convention will once again be hosting the Adventures in Character (AIC) children's program. AIC is open to all 6-12 year olds that have parents attending the convention. Our most important desire for AIC is to support parents in instilling the principles of God's Word in the hearts and lives of the next generation. Our exciting theme for this year is:

2015 AIC Logo

AIC is set up with a mixture of large assemblies and small groups throughout each day of the 2-day convention. You will be given a position as either a teacher or assistant teacher. Both will work together to teach a team of about 15-20 children during the small group sessions. A detailed curriculum and teacher training are provided prior to that time.

Our goal this year is to register between 300 and 400 children. In order for this to be possible we need at least 60 young people to assist. Please fill out the following teacher registration by March 1. If your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation letter, a subscription to "The Adventurer" - a bi-weekly e-newsletter from the AIC staff, and five teacher gatherings and training sessions from mid-March leading up to the convention. We are looking forward to serving with you!

In addition to teachers and assistants, we are recruiting actors and actresses to participate in the drama that takes place throughout the weekend. If you are interested in being considered for a part, please indicate this on your registration and send it as soon as possible. Those chosen for the drama will be required to have their lines memorized and must attend drama rehearsals (see below for schedule).

Teachers and assistant teachers are required to attend five training sessions that will focus on: developing excellent communication skills, teamwork, how to share the gospel with children, storytelling techniques to engage any audience, understanding effective leadership, and building godly friendships. If you have any questions, please contact AIC Director of Communications, Lauren Dunn. The times for this year's conference that you would need to commit to participate are:
